Welcome to GAYZED, the 4th annual exhibition by the Gay Photographers Network.

gayzed - annual exhibition by the gay photographers network

The annual exhibition once again highlights the eclectic styles of the network’s members (from emerging talent to established photographers) and covers a spectrum of genres with over 100 images on display.

With the success of the previous years’ exhibitions (covered by amongst others, The Independent, Time Out, BBC Local News) and with this year’s Beyond Words competition in conjunction with Foyles as part of the Pride Arts festival, the network is fast becoming the name to watch for emerging photographic talent from London’s gay community.

The Gay Photographers Network is very happy to be returning to the Strand Gallery in John Adam Street, London, just a stone’s throw from Soho. We are delighted to be once again supporting the Disabled Photographers Society and this year the River House Trust, with donations and a percentage from sales that have helped raise thousands of pounds for charity since the first exhibition in 2010.

With its mix of professional photographers and dedicated amateurs the output of the group is highly diverse and reaches well beyond the traditional gay diaspora. 'Beyond Words' is their first residency at the Gallery at Foyles.

Guys Hanging - GPN Annual Exhibition 2010

The Gay Photographers Network inaugural exhibition, entitled Guys Hanging took place at the Coningsby Gallery in central London’s Fitzrovia during the week leading up to the London Pride celebrations on July 3rd. The exhibition was by all accounts a big success with over thirty photographers taking part.  This sowed the seeds for what is now our annual public exhibition; a summer exhibition in central London.
